This is the 'etiquette bell' found in the ladies restroom stalls at the airport in Seoul. When you press the button, it produces a long flushing noise to, I imagine, cover any noises made while using the facilities. So, that's fun!

This toilet humor brings to mind a similar photo of a bidet in Milano. Oh we of the West are so unsophisticated...
