The food in Japan is abolutely great!  I try everything even when I am not quite sure what it is.  Actually,  that isn´t always true.  Last night at dinner, there were skewers of heart that I did not have.  I recently saw whale meat at the grocery store and I would probably have to pass that by too.  Well anyways, I will try almost anything.  I am really enjoying miso for breakfast and this fermented bean called nato.

I'd also stay away from Fugu, the poisonous fish that you have to trust the chef to have removed all the poison from or it will be the last meal you ever eat.

What are you reading?

Have you tried Mochi yet? It's a dessert made from soy beans - kinda like jello squares with unusual colors and flavors. Natto looks bizarre...
